Elaboracja Niewiadów sp. z o.o. was established to develop Poland’s domestic large-calibre ammunition capabilities.
The factory project in Osiedle Niewiadów builds on the region’s industrial heritage and the facilities of Zakłady Sprzętu Precyzyjnego Niewiadów. The site’s defence industry history dates back to the 1920s and the activities of the joint-stock company Nitrat.

Elaboracja Niewiadów’s shareholders are:
Forum 119 Fundusz Inwestycyjny Zamknięty — the majority shareholder, holding 65% of the company’s share capital.
Part of the UK-based Fidera investment group.
Zakłady Sprzętu Precyzyjnego Niewiadów Sp. z o.o. — the minority shareholder, holding 35%.
Part of Niewiadów Polska Grupa Militarna S.A., a company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
The investment decision was made in June 2025. The project comprises a 155 mm ammunition filling plant and warehouse facilities on property owned by the company.
Niewiadów’s industrial expertise and the potential for infrastructure development underpin the company’s long-term plans.
